What are Facebook recommendations, and how do they work?

Facebook Recommendations are Facebook’s updated version of reviews, designed to make it easier for customers to share authentic feedback about your business. Instead of leaving a star rating, customers can select a thumbs up (they recommend your business) or a thumbs down (they don’t), along with optional comments and photos.


How Chekkit pulls in Facebook Recommendations

Chekkit automatically imports your Facebook Recommendations for any Facebook page that’s connected and authenticated through your Chekkit account.

If you haven’t already, connect your Facebook page under Settings → Facebook to start receiving and responding to Recommendations directly from your Chekkit Dashboard.


How customers see it

When customers visit your Facebook page or follow a review invite, they’ll be asked if they recommend your business. After choosing yes or no, they can share more details about their experience.

Once submitted, the Recommendation will appear in your Reviews tab in Chekkit alongside your Google and other platform reviews — showing either a thumbs-up or thumbs-down icon and any comments provided.
