What's the difference between the user access levels?

Adding team members to your Chekkit account is an important step in the setup process for your Chekkit account. You'll most likely want to add multiple users to help with answering your customer's inquiries, sending review invitations, responding to reviews, and more. Each access level has its own importance and gives access to specific features of your Chekkit account.


Owner

The owner has the least restrictions on all the access levels. The owner has the following permissions on a Chekkit account.

  • Accessibility to all setting options
  • Respond to reviews
  • View all messages that are received
  • Assign conversations to other users
  • Ability to refund and cancel payments
  • Send payment requests
  • Toggled between various locations

Location Admin

The location admin will have access to all the same things an owner would have access but they will lose the ability to toggle between different locations.


Team Leader

A team leader will lose business, review, Chekkit Pay, and billing settings. They will still be able to do the following.

  • Respond to reviews
  • View all messages that are received
  • Assign conversations to other users
  • Ability to refund and cancel payments
  • Send payment requests

Team Member

A team member will only have access to the personal settings but they will have access to the following abilities.

  • Respond to reviews
  • View all messages that are received
  • Assign conversations to other users
  • Send payment requests

Team Member (Limited)

A team member limited will have similar access as a team member. They will lose access to the Chekkit Pay dashboard and they will not be able to send payment requests. They will also lose the ability to respond to reviews.


Individual

An individual is the most restrictive account. They will also have access to personal settings. They will have the same restriction as the team member limited and they will only be able to see messages that have been assigned to them.


All users can have the ability for multi-location access. You will need to notify support@chekkit.io of which users you'd like to have multi-location access.
