What is the fee structure like?

Chekkit Pay is an add-on feature that costs $99/month. The $99 per month is from Chekkit for the service of payments within your Chekkit account. All other fees are from Stripe, and these fees are based upon the successful charge of a card.

These additional fees depend on your country as well as the circumstance as shown below.

USA: 2.9% + $0.30 per successful card charge

+1% for international cards. If currency conversion is required, an additional 1% fee will apply.

Canada: 2.9% + C$0.30 per successful card charge

+0.6% for international cards. If currency conversion is required, an additional 2% fee will apply.

Australia: 1.75%+ A$0.30 for domestic cards

2.9% + A$0.30 for international cards. If currency conversion is required, an additional 2% fee will apply.

If you need to refund a payment, there are no fees for doing so, but Stripe’s fees on the original payment will not be returned.

For example, let’s say you charged your customer for an invoice of $100 and the payment went through charging you 2.9% and $0.30. Now a few days later, you refund your customer the $100. There is no fee for completing this action, however, you will not receive the 2.9% and $0.30 back.
