New Google Business Messenger Integration

Chekkit will be Beta testing our new Google Business Messenger integration. Google Business Messenger helps your customers reach you with the scale of Google Search and Maps. With Business Messages’ conversational experience, delight your customers and drive results.

In order to be a part of our Beta test, send an email to support@chekkit.io asking to take part in the Beta. We will need some information in order to get your Chekkit account integrated with Google Business Messenger.

We will need the following information:

• An image of your logo
  • Preferably 1024 x 1024 pixels
• Your business name
• Contact email.

The next step is to verify the information that we've entered into our system. You will receive two emails from Google. The first email will contain a security key. You will need this security key for the next email.

The second email will contain your business name, a link to your logo, and an Agent ID. Ensure that this information is correct. In order to complete this process, reply to the second email with the following statement:

• I, (your name and business name), grant Chekkit the right to send Business Messages using the information specified in this email. Security key: (security key from the first email)

After your business has been verified, you will need to turn on messaging for your Google My Business. Sign in to your GMB and go to Messages and click the Turn on messaging button.

Once we have all the necessary information we will make the changes on our end to allow your customers to message you through your GMB.
