How To Create A Quote

Creating a quote in Chekkit is a quick and organized way to provide clients with accurate pricing, timelines, or service details. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to get started


Step 1: Log in to the Chekkit Dashboard

  1. Visit https://dashboard.chekkit.io in your web browser.
  2. Enter your email and password, then click “Log In.”
  3. Once logged in, you’ll be directed to your main dashboard view.

If you experience any login issues, use the “Forgot Password” link or contact support.


Step 2: Click ‘Create’ on the Left-Hand Side

  1. On the left-hand navigation menu, locate the “Create” button.
  2. Click on it to open a list of creation options.

This button may appear with a plus symbol (+ ) next to it.


Step 3: Select ‘Quote’

  1. From the dropdown list, select “Quote.”
  2. This will launch the quote creation screen, where you’ll input the relevant quote information.


Step 4: Enter the Relevant Details

  1. Fill in all necessary fields for the quote, including:
    • Client name or business
    • Services or products offered
    • Quantities and pricing
    • Discounts, taxes, etc (if applicable)
    • Notes or details

Be as specific and clear as possible to avoid back-and-forth with the client.


Step 5: Click ‘Save’

  1. Once all fields are complete, review the information for accuracy.
  2. Click the “Save” button to finalize and store the quote.
  3. The quote will now appear in your dashboard and can be shared or edited as needed.
