How to Turn Incoming Messages into Opportunities and Track Leads in Chekkit
Chekkit makes it easy to turn new conversations into organized sales leads. Here’s how to convert a new message into an opportunity and track it in your Opportunities Dashboard.
Create an Opportunity from a New Message
When a New Message Comes In:
You’ll see it appear in your Inbox on the left-hand side of the dashboard.

- Open the Conversation:
Click into the conversation to view the message details.
Click Plus under Pipeline in the conversation details:
At the top of the contact details, click the Create Opportunity button (you’ll find it near the top right of the contact details). This will open the Opportunity creation window.

- Fill in the Opportunity Details:
- Opportunity Name
- Contact info
- Opportunity value, stage, and notes (optional but recommended)
- Add any other relevant information to help you or your team track the lead
- Click Create
Your lead is now added to your Opportunities Dashboard!

📊 Where to Find Your Leads: Opportunities Dashboard
Once saved, all opportunities are automatically organized in the Opportunities Pipeline:
- Access it by clicking Opportunities Pipeline from the left-hand menu under Home.
- Use filters to sort by status, date, assignee, or stage in your sales process.
- You’ll be able to view, edit, and track every lead’s progress from one centralized hub.
