How to @Mention Teammates in Chekkit

You can now @mention teammates directly in the Notes section of a customer conversation, making it easier to collaborate and keep important context inside Chekkit. πŸ™Œ

Whether you need someone to review a conversation, follow up with a customer, or provide additional context, you can tag them right from the customer profile.

πŸ’¬ How to @mention a teammate

  1. Open your Inbox and select a customer conversation.
  2. In the right-hand customer details panel, find the Notes section.
  3. Click the note field and type @ followed by your teammate’s name.
  4. Select the teammate you want to tag.
  5. Add any additional context and submit the note. βœ…

For example:

@Dan Can you take a look at this customer’s account before we reply?

The note stays attached to that customer, making it easy for your team to reference later. πŸ“

πŸ”” Finding your mentions

When another teammate tags you, you can find the message under Mentions in the left-hand menu.

The Team Mentions page keeps everything in one place and lets you switch between:

  • πŸ†• Unread mentions
  • πŸ“š All mentions

Once you’ve reviewed your mentions, you can also mark them as read. βœ…

This makes it much easier to keep track of conversations that specifically need your attention without searching through your entire Inbox.

🀝 Why use @mentions?

@mentions are a simple way to:

  • πŸ‘€ Ask a teammate for input
  • 🚩 Flag a customer or conversation that needs attention
  • βœ… Coordinate follow-ups
  • πŸ“ Keep important context attached to the customer
  • πŸ’¬ Reduce the need to copy conversations into Slack, email, or other tools
