📅 Sync Google Calendar with Chekkit

You can now sync your Google Calendar with the Chekkit Calendar, giving your team a single place to view upcoming appointments and allowing your Chekkit AI Employee to reference appointment information when responding to customers.

Once connected, events from your selected Google Calendar will appear alongside your Chekkit calendar events.

🤖 Let AI answer appointment questions

With your calendar connected, your AI Employee can use the synced appointment information to answer common customer questions automatically.

For example, if a customer texts:

“Hey, when is my appointment?”

Your AI Employee can check the connected calendar and respond with the appointment date and time.

This means customers can get quick answers without someone on your team needing to manually look up their appointment.

🔗 Connecting your Google Calendar

From the Calendar inside Chekkit:

Connect your Google account.
Authorize Chekkit to access your calendar.
Select the Google Calendar you want to connect.
Once connected, Google Calendar events will appear directly inside your Chekkit Calendar.

You can view your Chekkit events and connected Google Calendar events from the Calendar page.

✅ What the AI can use

When an appointment exists on your connected calendar, the AI Employee can reference the available appointment information when responding to the associated customer.

This is especially useful for questions like:

“When is my appointment?”
“What day am I booked for?”
“What time is my appointment?”

The AI uses the information available from your connected calendar rather than requiring your team to manually check the schedule.

🌎 Check your timezone

Make sure the timezone configured for your calendar and account is correct so appointment times are communicated accurately to customers.
