How do I connect Google and Chekkit?

To connect your Google My Business (GMB) to Chekkit, first, make sure that you have managerial access to your GMB listing.

Note: You can verify that you have access by logging in at and confirming that you can see and edit your business's GMB listing. If no one at your company has access to the GMB listing follow these steps to get access.

Log into your account and navigate to the 'Settings' - 'Review' page.

Click the 'Use my Google Account' button

This will open a small pop-up window asking you to log into your Google account, specifically the account with managerial permissions for your company's GMB.

Select Google account to connect to Chekkit.

Then click 'Allow' to give Chekkit access to all your reviews and publicly post your review replies.

Click Allow.

Once you have clicked 'Allow' you will be brought back to the Chekkit dashboard and will need to navigate back to the 'Review Management Settings' page.

You should now see a pull-down list asking you to 'Select your Primary Location'.

Note: If you get the message "No GMB locations associated with this account. Please try another Google account.", it means that the username you logged in with does not have managerial access to any GMB listings.

Click 'Set Primary Location'.

Once you have selected your primary location, click 'Set Primary Location' to finalize your GMB connection.

Congratulations! You have now connected your GMB account with Chekkit!

You can now respond to your Google Reviews from the 'Reviews' page, you will also have more information displayed on the 'Insights' page.
